Custom Fabrication & Manufacturing

Backwoods Metal Works specializes in custom fabrication of Steel, Aluminum & Stainless Steel parts & products. We are able to re-create anything from discontinued OEM parts to one off completely custom products. Whether you bring us a sketch on a piece of cardboard or engineered blue prints, we are able to turn your envision into a finished metal product using materials & metal fabrication processes that best suite your needs. Have a product that you want to bring to market? We are able to manufacture your product in-house by utilizing our streamlined & efficient workflow processes to keep manufacturing costs low.

STEEL SUPPLY & SALES

We are your local steel supplier, supplying mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum materials of all shapes, sizes and lengths. We offer no order minimums on common size material & next day lead times on items not in stock. We also offer after hours ordering & pickup to make it easy & convenient on your schedule.

Specialized Welding Repair

We offer specialized welding repair on farm equipment, construction equipment, implements, attachments, and much more! Whether it be a simple weldment repair, structural reinforcement or a complete redesign of your product, we strive to ensure your product will never fail again. With many years of welding repair experience our team is eager to take on any unique repair that may require a little more attention to detail than your average welding repair job. Before sparks start flying your product will undergo a thorough inspection to identify the failed part and all related components. Only then will we take all factors into consideration before proceeding with the appropriate repair.

Welding Gas & Welding Supplies

We are an authorized stock point for Linde Gas & Equipment. We stock Oxygen, Acetylene, Carbon Dioxide, Argon, Tri-Mix, Nitrogen and other various gases. Gas cylinders are available for exchange or for purchase. We also stock a variety common of welding wires, stick electrodes & other welding supplies. Looking for a welding machine or metal working equipment? We work closely with a large variety of vendors in the welding & metal fabrication industry & can help you get the right machine.

CNC Plasma Cutting & Parts Design

We offer in-house CNC plasma cutting capable of cutting steel, stainless steel, aluminum and brass. We are able to efficiently cut your parts with extreme accuracy. With a 5' x 10' cutting area we are able to cut up to 1 1/2" steel, 3/4" Aluminum & 3/4" Stainless with traditional plasma and up to 6" steel with the oxy-fuel cutting process. We are able to re-create practically any part that you need cut, whether it's drawn on paper or reverse engineered from the part itself.

Additional Services

Although we are not yet able to provide these additional services in-house, we work closely with other small and local business who offer services that can better enhance your product. We are able to source these services without any extra work on your end that allows for a hassle free transaction from start to finish.

Wet Paint & Sand Blasting

Sand blasting & painting is a great option to put the final touches on your product to make it shine.

Powder Coating

Powder Coating offers superior durability & protection over regular wet paint. With hundreds of color options, powder coating is a great choice to fine tune how you want your finished product to look.
